Family Traditions
I think it's safe to say I pretty much got swallowed up in the holidays. There were parties, travel, family gatherings and the end of year work push, which all seemed to keep me away from here. I did a lot of cooking that I hope to share soon, but I'm off to San Francisco for the New Year's holiday.
On January 1st, I'll be eating this. It's a Southern tradition. The black-eyed peas are eaten for good luck and the greens represent folded money for prosperity. I wish you both in the New Year and thank you for reading along and your continued support.
What are the traditions you'll be practicing as you ring in the New Year?
